In a bizarre partnership that breaks traditional expectations, Ubisoft has unveiled an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Disclosed

According to the authorized statement, "A mysterious encounter draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where hints of prohibited ceremonies and fearsome metamorphoses reverberate through the obscurity." The narrative introduces a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a hidden cult.

The questline focuses on "bizarre experiments and a fearsome adversary" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Locations and Transformations

The trailer highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview ends with a powerful sequence showing a character, presumably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Prizes and Bonus Features

Players who successfully complete the mission will receive an exclusive katana together with numerous items secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
